DIY drums come to life in the hands of 35 drummers. Together we create a highly original ‘wall of sound’ due to the fact that we build the drums ourselves. Tradition is thrown overboard; we do away with imitation, playing a polyrhythmic mix that takes its inspiration from across the globe: rolling rhumba, creeping bass, sweeping breakbeats, South-African techno, hot grooves – no limits!

The combination of acoustic drums and well-honed choreographies make DROM a mobile ‘outdoor group’ that’s at home anywhere. Squares and street parties, parades and festivals. You name it.
